Meet Scott Sherwood

The Torrington Democratic Town Committee is pleased to announce Scott Sherwood as our candidate for Democratic Registrar of Voters.

Scott is a Torrington resident of nine years and a retired IBM executive with nearly four decades of experience in engineering, IT consulting, and public sector project management, rising to Chief Application Architect. A Purdue alumnus holding an MS in Engineering, he has served clients including National Grid and Olympic organizing committees. A father of five and proud rescuer of ten dogs, Scott volunteered as an election worker in Torrington's most recent election and is ready to bring competence, precision, and dedication to the Registrar's office.
