To Vote By Absentee Ballot

Step 1: Download the application

Step 2: Complete the application following the directions carefully. 

            You must check Section 2 for your reason to vote by absentee ballot.
            Like last Election, all voters may check the box "COVID 19" as their reason to vote by 
            absentee ballot. Don't forget to sign and date the application. 
             

Step 3:   Place the completed application in an envelope and address it to:

               Torrington City Clerk
               140 Main Street
               Torrington, CT 06790

Step 4:     Add a stamp and place it in the mail.

                Or place the envelope in the Drop Box outside City Hall, 140 Main Street

Step 5:     Complete the ballot as instructed and return in the provided envelope by the ways                          listed in Step 4.

                Your ballot must be received by the Clerk's Office by 8:00 pm on Election Day to be                        counted.
