I am running for Treasurer because the city of Torrington has so much untapped potential and with concerted determination, I feel I can make a difference and facilitate a more prosperous and forward-thinking community. It is time as a city that we became aggressive in attracting new industrial businesses, start up companies and built on our educational system where vocational studies become a standard in our new high school. As the city treasurer I will serve as a financial officer, and I will manage revenue and the cash flow of the city so we optimize our investments, supervisor the expenditures and receipts and keep the city on budget.
