My father passed unexpectedly while I was in college and after graduating I moved home with my mother, who works in the healthcare field. Several generations of family have lived and worked in this area; proud Irish factory workers and strong Lebanese farmers.

Why I am running for office: I’m running for office because I want to represent children from working class families. As the first to graduate college from my own, I understand the milestones they must overcome that others do not. Emphasizing the importance of not only college, but trade programs and alternative learning paths to success. In addition, I plan to prioritize mental health support in our school environments. Partnering with local agencies to address issues and provide further resources that will help our families. It takes a community working together to create change.
